                                         The unready Christians

It would be unwise as a citizen and Christian citizens especially, not to be prepared for the culture in which we are living in. Prepared in the Word, prepared in the Law and prepared for the truth.  Where should one turn for help in these areas, where we seem to be lacking the understanding, of preparedness.

In many respects, what God provided us in the volume of wisdom in the Bible could be liken to a comprehensive legal system in the Bible, with 613 laws addressing every arena of life, from taxation to immigration, business operations to criminal justice, sexual behavior to the military. That the Scriptures should be both so wide ranging and practical is no surprise, for while 2 Timothy 3:16 tell us that God’s Word is inspired or God-Breathed, verse 17 tells us that, He gave us His Word so that we as believers could be equipped for every good work. In short, the Bible holds the answers for every aspect of life and living.

And because God’s Word provided such thorough guidance in so many areas                (including which; crimes require restitution; marriage and family laws; abortion and the unborn; inheritance policies; agricultural practices; employment contracts; business loans and interest rates; etc.) citizens regularly went to ministers rather than just attorneys for guidance on law.  This certainly not the practice today, but it definitely was during the American Founding. “ The patriotic clergy of the revolution…were the soundest statesmen of the time”  early historian J.T.Headley expounded…

When the first federal Congress under the new Constitution convened in 1789, many ministers were among its members, including the Revs. Fredrick Augustus Muhlenberg, John Peter Gabriel Muhlenberg, Abiel Foster, Benjamin Contee, Abraham Baldwin, and Paine Wingate.  In fact, the first speaker of the House of Representatives was Rev. Fredrick Muhlenberg; and his is of only two signatures appearing at the bottom of the Bill of Rights.

American ministers were intimately involved in every aspect of introducing, defining, and securing America’s governmental and legal system.  So, if a citizen in early America wanted to know something about law, he could go to a minister of the Gospel, just as God’s ancient Hebrew people had gone to the priests in their day to understand the law.

In this time in our nation, something is wrong very wrong, and if ever we needed to roll back time, to remember our history,  it is now!  Our ministers, clergy, priests and pastors, our church, must realize how important and necessary their duties are in our government structure truly is, and not bow down to a system that has turned its back on God and those who have turned away their ears from the truth, those treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasurer rather than lovers of God.v4

 

                                               See. Judge. Act.

                Freedom is responsibility, It is the means to live with in the truth. 

See means to be awake to realities around you. Judge is a command to discern soberly the meaning of those realities in light of what you know to be true, especially from the teachings of the Christian faith.  After you reach a conclusion, then we are to Act to resist the evil.

John 8:32 ; and you will know the Truth, and the truth will set you free.

Psalm 119:160 The sum of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting.

Zechariah 8:16 These are the things you should do: speak the truth to one another; judge with truth and judgment for peace in your gates.

 

                                               The new Totalitarianism

                Soft totalitarianism is coming, the groundwork has already been laid;

Totalitarianism – a form of government that combines political authoritarianism with an ideology that seeks to control all aspects of life.  Its not establishing itself through “hard” means like armed revolution or enforcing itself with gulags.  Rather, it exercises control, at least initially, in soft forms. This totalitarianism is therapeutic.  It masks (no pun intended) its hatred of freethinkers, critical thinkers, from its utopian ideology in the guise of helping and healing.

To grasp the threat of totalitarianism, it’s important to understand the difference between it and simple authoritarianism.  Authoritarianism is what you have when the state monopolizes political control.  That is mere dictatorship – bad, certainly, but totalitarianism is much worse. A totalitarian society is one in which an ideology seeks to displace all prior traditions and institutions, with the goal of bringing all aspects of society under control of that ideology. A totalitarian state is one that aspires to nothing less than defining and controlling reality.  Truth is whatever the rulers/ government decide it is. Wherever totalitarianism has ruled, it has begun to destroy the essence of man.

As part of its quest to define reality, a totalitarian state seeks not just to control your actions but also your thoughts and emotions. The ideal subject “ woke culture” some one who has learned to love Big Brother…

Today’s totalitarianism demands allegiance to a set of progressive beliefs, many of which are incompatible with logic – and certainly with Christianity.  Compliance is forced less by the state than by elites who form public opinion, and by private corporations that, thanks to technology, control our lives far more than we would like to admit.

Many conservatives today fail to grasp the gravity of this threat, dismissing it as mere “political correctness” – a previous generation’s disparaging term for so – called “wokeness”

Today in our societies, dissenters from the woke party line find their business, careers, and reputations destroyed. They are pushed out of the public square, stigmatized, canceled, and demonized as racist, sexists, homophobes, and the like. And they are afraid to resist, because they are confident that no one will join them or defend them.

Today’s left – wing totalitarianism once again appeals to an internal hunger, specifically the hunger for a just society, one that vindicates and liberates the historical victims of oppression. It masquerades as kindness, demonizing freethinkers/critical thinkers, and disfavored demographic groups to protect the feelings of “victims” in order to bring about “social justice”.  These so-call social justice warriors (aka SJWs) who started out as liberals and animated by an urgent compassion, end by abandoning authentic liberalism and embracing an aggressive and punitive politics that resembles 1917 Bolshevism…(look it up)

Soft totalitarianism exploits decadent modern man’s preference for personal pleasure over principles, including political liberties. Under soft totalitarianism, the media, academia, corporate America, and other institutions are practicing Newspeak and compelling the rest of us to engage in doublethink every day.

Men have periods, the women standing in front of you is to be called “he.” Diversity and inclusion means excluding those who object to ideological uniformity. Equity means treating  persons unequally, regardless of their skills and achievements, to achieve an ideologically correct result.  Many Christians have seen through these lies today, but we are  choosing  not to speak up. Our silence will not save us and instead it is corroding us…  so, then we must… SEE, JUDGE, ACT.  That is, identify the challenge, discern together its meaning, then act on your conclusion

PRAY…PRAY…PRAY

Father we thank you Lord once again for your word, as you speak to us out of it.  We pray together Lord that you would move in our nation, something is wrong, and Lord I pray with my brothers and sisters that You would just, as it were, roll back the hands of time and hear once again the prayers of our Pilgrim fathers, for this nation they had a vision, they had the foresight, they had the love for You, to mention to you, to plead to you, that this new world that You would begin on this continent would be a covenant with the inhabitants of America and You. As far as we know throughout human history outside the nation of Israel, there’s never been such a request. In Your Bible, You’re the one that offered Israel a covenant, but our Pilgrim fathers unlike any other people group in the history of man, they portioned you…for this nation, and Lord this nation is lost today, it is sideways, it is corrupt…it is polluted, and God I pray You give us a jolt, a swift kick, to cause us to wake up out of emotionalism, and love Truth…get our feelings out of the factor.  Lord put our minds back into focus of thinking about who You are, and that’s there is one Truth, and it is Yours, so God we pray you would repossess our nation and take it back from our hands of the politicians and attorneys and judges and the power brokers, and that our nation Motto would be true one more time, “In God We Trust”

And Lord if You search this nation looking for someone that’s trusting in You I Beg of You Father that You would find us trusting in You…In Jesus name…Amen...and all God’s children say….

Due to a legislative tactic known as "budget reconciliation," the Biden regime's $4.9-TRILLION SPENDING SCAM can be passed with a simple majority vote in the Senate. All 50 Republicans in the Upper Chamber are opposed to pushing the U.S. off a fiscal cliff into full-blown socialism.

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) are the ONLY Democrats currently opposed to the price tag of "Build Back Better." If either of them votes "NO!", Democrats won't have the 50 votes they need to have Kamala Harris cast the tie-breaking vote.

Sinema and Machin are on the tip of the spear in this battle to save America. The pressure on those two Senators to give in to the Biden regime is intensifying by the day. Why? A Note On the Kyle Rittenhouse Trial

 

 

Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted on all charges, but just as important, the American people also won a great victory. The God-given principle of self-defense, and the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution were just as victorious. Without these natural laws, all others are rendered meaningless.

 

What was defeated was the overly anxious concern for the guilty, the lack of concern for the innocent, the long worn-out accusation of racism Democrats yell to the mob at every turn, and the often-blatant display of specious righteous indignation.

 

Thanksgiving reminder

 

During this time of crisis and division, I often think of Washington.  Despite our problems, we should give thanks to God for “peaceably establishing “ our form of government – just as Washington did.
